8 games pro set (no ad). “Deciding Point” 40-40 will be receiver choice of which player receives the serve. If the game set reaches 7-all, players must play a set tie-break (12 points tiebreaker). The order of serving continues in the same rotation. The first team to reach 7 points wins the game, provided there is a margin of two points over the opponents. If necessary, the tie-break game shall continue until this margin is achieved. The score is to be recorded as 8-7. |

12-points tiebreaker. In doubles, the first server shall serve one point from the right (deuce) side. The second server shall serve two points, starting from the left (ad) side and ending on the right side. The third server shall serve two points, starting on the left and ending on the right side. The fourth server shall serve one point from the left side and then players change ends of the courts. The fourth server shall then serve one point from the right side. Play continues in such a manner until one team wins at least seven points with a two-point margin. Teams change ends of the court every six (6) points. |
6. |
Regular season and playoff match win will be based on total games won of the four sets of 8 games pro set. In the event of a tie in number of games won, the team that wins majority of game sets will be awarded the win. In the event of a tie in number of games won and number of game sets, the final pairing shall play an additional 12-point tie breaker to determine the win. |
7. |
Foot faults are penalized in the same way as missing a serve. If a player starts the motion with the foot on the line already then foot fault may be called. If the server just steps onto the line as they hit the ball, no foot fault should be called. The receiver or the receiver’s partner may call foot faults only after all reasonable efforts, such as warning the server, and the foot fault is so flagrant as to be clearly perceptible from the receiver’s side. |
8. |
Team standings will be based on match wins and losses. In the event of a tie in wins and losses, the 1st tie breaker will be head-to-head match wins and losses. If there is still a tie (each team has beaten each other), the next tie breaker will be percentage (%) of sets won during the round robin or season. If by some rare chance this is still a tie, percentage (%) of games won during the regular season will be the 3rd tie breaker for the standings. |
